Tavernas with British menus are plentiful. One or two more traditional Greek places survive Kavos is not for those seeking old-style authenticity. Kavos is 30 miles south of Corfu Town and Corfu airport and just over a mile south of Aghios Petros; built to provide a quieter alternative to Kavos, more appealing to older couples or families seeking a beach holiday in Kavos but without being in the midst of the party. The resort has regular bus connections with fascinating bus tours of the island, and the chance to experience a complete contrast with boat trips to Corfu Town, Parga, Blue Lagoon and the picturesque islands of Paxos and tiny Antipaxos.
